Lesson SequenceLesson 5-6: Observe Chicago skyline. Compare eye-level and bird’s eye views. Translate eye-level birthday drawing into bird’s eye-view. Share bird’s-eye images.
Lesson 7-9: Read On the Same Day in March. Record details of weather in each location in the book. Discuss difference between seasons, weather and climate. Choose a place from On the Same Day in March to research and create as an artwork. Write artists statement.
Lesson 10: Curate and present artwork and artist statements.
