STEAM Ahead Professional Development
STEAM Ahead Professional Development was continuous throughout the CAPE/SD163 collaboration. It began with summer sessions that set the foundation for the school year. School year sessions supported teachers as they continued to develop understandings about artists and their connection to science, and gave teachers and teaching artists time to develop and refine their lessons.
We invite you to use the professional development slides and outlines in your own school or district. You can download the slides and the outlines and modify them to fit your needs for professional learning that encourages artmaking and creating STEM/art connections.
